Lux
Lux, Lu/lu
One copy of Lux
Chromosome: Unknown
RVG description:
A dominant Satin type that haven't been documented in the fancy before. The Australian fancy have Silky and Silk but this gene have been compared thoroughly and it has been determined that they are not the same gene.
The whiskers are clearly blown back and are easy to identify from birth. They also have a distinct mohawk on their belly which seems to apparent even into adulthood. The coat is semi-long, like we see in Satin, but may lack some guard hairs. The adult coat seems lose and glossy.
Further test breeding is being done to find evidence of Double Lux vs. Lux, as well as documenting the gene with more details.
