Chinchilla
If you have information regarding the Fy gene, please message me.
Chinchilla, A/* Fy/* Ws/*
Assumed at least one copy of Agouti, one copy of Fading Yellow gene, and at least one copy of Dominant White Spotting
Chromosome: Multiple, but Fy is unknown
RVG description:
Chinchilla is a variety that is a combination of both a color and marking gene. The Fading Yellow gene removes the yellow pigment so the regular banding of grey-fawn-black of the Agouti becomes grey-faded beige-black respectively - more scientific information about Fy is needed.
Besides the Fy gene Chinchilla also needs the Dominant White Spotting gene and should be Blazed Berkshire or Berkshire with headspot, but as we know DWS don't always produce Blazed Berkshire so getting the right marking can prove difficult.
Note: There is not much information about Chinchilla so the genotype is purely speculation.
